Dates & Deadlines for Fall 2018
Early Action Deadline – Monday, October 15th, 2018
NC State’s first deadline is coming up! While we don’t necessarily give priority to early action applicants in the review process, students who meet this deadline receive priority consideration for scholarships, and honors and scholars program. Students who apply for Early Action will receive their decision by January 30th.

Key items to keep in mind:
- Students interested in one of our studio-based majors must submit their application by the October 15th deadline and will need to submit a portfolio and additional essay by November 1st.
University Open House Saturday, October 13th, 2018
University Open House has no formal schedule so you have the chance to learn about everything that interests you while on campus.
- Attend academic sessions
- Visit the info fair at Talley Student Union
- Experience dining
- Visit the Bookstore
- Tour the residence halls
- Tour the library and much more!
