NC Teaching Fellows Application Now Open

NC State University is one of five universities offering the North Carolina Teaching Fellows Program – a program that trains teachers in science, technology, engineering, math or special education.

The application for the 2019-2020 Teaching Fellows class is now available. Students should apply by January 7 to be considered for the program.

NC State University’s College of Education is one of the nation’s best teacher education programs and ranks number one in statewide performance measures. By participating in the NC Teaching Fellows program, students have the opportunity to receive up to $33,000 in forgivable loans to teach in a STEM or special education area. Students will help fellow North Carolinians by serving one year in a low-performing school or two years in another public school for each year they receive a loan.
