Information Regarding Admitted Students

Congratulations to your admitted students!

They can connect with our office and other admitted students on social media by using #IChoseNCState. We encourage all admitted students to apply for scholarships through PackASSIST and submit their Housing application as soon as they receive their acceptance. The New Student Checklist is the best resource for students regarding steps they need to complete from the time they receive their acceptance to the first day of class.

Students must confirm their enrollment by May 1 – they can respond to our offer of admission by logging into their wolfPAW account.

Admission to NC State continues to be highly selective. Admitted students in the first notification group represent 99 of North Carolina’s 100 counties, all 50 states and 27 countries. The average weighted GPA for admitted freshmen in the early action notification group is 4.64, average SAT is 1357 and average ACT is 30. We have received over 29,000 freshman applications for the fall 2018 term.
