Early Action Application Reminders

We’re excited to usher in the 2017-2018 admissions cycle! Our first deadline is coming up on October 15th – this is our early action deadline. We do encourage students to apply early- while we don’t necessarily give priority to early action applicants in the review process, students who meet this deadline receive priority consideration for scholarships and our honors and scholars programs. They will also hear back from us by January 30th, which is a pretty good incentive for many students! You can read more details about our application process on our newly redesigned website. Here are few key items to keep in mind:

• The October SAT exam is the last test date we can guarantee that we will have scores in time to consider for the early action deadline
• We do not require, or recommend, letters of recommendation
• Counselors have up to two weeks following the October 15th deadline to submit a student’s transcript and any additional application materials such as the School Report
• Students interested in one of our studio-based majors must submit their application by the October 15th deadline and will also need to submit a portfolio and additional essay by November 1st
