Justin Richardson
Native Education Forum
My name is Justin Richardson, a member of the Haliwa-Saponi tribe, and I’m from from Hollister, N.C. I attended NC State and graduated in December 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication. I work as an Assistant Director in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at NC State University, where I work with Native American recruitment and student outreach. I currently serve as Vice President for the NC State American Indian Alumni Society. I am looking forward to meeting you all!
Darrius Campbell
Emerging Scholars Academy
I am Darrius Campbell, Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions at NC State University. I am a native of Salisbury, N.C., home of my favorite soft drink, Cheerwine. With a passion for college access and pushing students towards higher education, I am driven to positively change the lives of students by propelling their thought processes into understanding and realizing their potential to succeed locally, nationally and internationally. I look forward to meeting all of you!
Jacqueline Lopez

Hola a todos! I’m Jacqueline Lopez, and I am an Admissions Counselor in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at NC State. I graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2017 with majors in Latin American Studies and Public Policy, but I’ve been proudly representing the Wolfpack for almost two years. I am a first-generation college student, hija de inmigrantes from Mexico, and I’m passionate about college access and cooking delicious meals. Nos vemos pronto!
Joselyn Barrientos

My name is Joselyn Barrientos and I am an Admissions Counselor in the NC State University Office of Undergraduate Admissions. I started my role as an Admissions Counselor in September 2019. I am an alumna of NC State and graduated in May 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in International Studies and a minor in Spanish. I grew up in a Costa Rican family in the Lake Norman area, but made my way to Raleigh when I left home for college. Being a first generation college student from a migrant family, I’m excited to share some awesome resources with you all!
