Congratulations to your admitted students!

Admission to NC State continues to be highly selective. Admitted students in the first notification group represent 98 of North Carolina’s 100 counties, 48 states and 26 countries. We have received 19,494 early action freshman applications for the fall 2019 term. The average weighted GPA for admitted freshmen in the early action notification group is 4.36, the average SAT is 1367 and the average ACT is 29.7.

Acceptance Packets

NC State’s Acceptance Packets will be mailed in February. The student will receive a New Student Checklist, which serves as a step-by-step guide for everything that needs to be done from now until their first day of classes.

Experience NC State

Experience NC State is an optional visitation day designed exclusively for admitted students to help them make the decision to attend NC State. Students will discover all the opportunities that await them when they become part of the Wolfpack! Each Experience NC State event will include academic and student life sessions, a student panel, campus tours, as well as access to many other resources to help students decide if NC State will be their home for the next four years.
Registration is required and space is limited.
