Application Update: Engineering Majors Available for Spring Entry

Each year, more than 25 percent of students who receive a degree in Engineering from NC State University are students who began their education at a different institution.

The College of Engineering is now accepting transfer applications for Spring 2020. Students who have completed all prerequisite coursework before the fall semester deadline of October 1 and have a strong cumulative GPA will be most successful in gaining admission to the College of Engineering. The average GPA this past Fall for admitted students was a 3.79 in the College of Engineering.

Students who apply by the Spring deadline, October 1, 2019, will be notified of a final admission decision by December 1 for Spring 2020 enrollment. The College of Engineering will continue to enroll a class each fall. Students interested in Fall enrollment should apply by February, 15, 2020.
