Get Involved

NC State University students lead more than 400 organizations ranging from religious and spiritual, academic, fraternities and sororities, special interest, intramural and club sports, to service, volunteer programs , multicultural, and political clubs and groups. And if your cause or interest isn't already represented, it's easy to start your own organization. When you're part of the Pack, boredom's simply not an option.

where to go

Many activities and organizations are located in the Talley Student Center, where you'll find food, lectures and cultural programs; or the Witherspoon Center, home to campus newspapers, the radio station and a cinema featuring first-run films.

Two of our most popular student service options tell a lot about the spirit of NC State students: the Alternative Spring Break Program and the Alternative Fall Break Program. These initiatives encourage students to devote their semester breaks to service projects locally and abroad, often working with outside organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and the MANNA Food Bank.
