Nate Johnson

Take five years, four summers and two degrees. What do you get? An NC State alum who enjoys going to work and looks forward to going to the next day. The on-air meteorologist credits his two passions — meteorology and computer science — along with the education he obtained at NC State among his many blessings.

Proudly stating that his alma mater was, 'an obvious choice,' Nate says that meteorology and computer science are a fantastic marriage of a science that's very tech-dependent. His education combined degrees that allowed him to not only explore technology but also apply it to meteorology.

Nate says, "My education at NC State helped open the door for me to have a job I look forward to going to each day." Rock on, Nate. And do try to keep it sunny for us in Raleigh.
