Glenda Diaz
Shortly after Glenda Diaz's family relocated from Puerto Rico to Charlotte, NC, during her junior of high school, she began her search for what she felt was the perfect university. NC State stood out right away, and Glenda packed her bags for Raleigh, spurning offers from Appalachian State and UNC Chapel-Hill.
"I was amazed by the size of NC State and its commitment to give back to the people of North Carolina," said Diaz, a sophomore who plans to major in business management or english. "I love the people at NC State and their willingness to help.
"Everywhere you go you find someone willing to answer your questions or concerns; people at NC State actually want you to feel comfortable and succeed."
