Last month, we welcomed 14 high school counselors from across the US to campus for our annual NC State Counselor Fly-In Tour. During this two-day event, counselors had the opportunity to learn more about NC State’s innovative academic programs, including taking a tour of the College of Design studios and a tour of Schenck Forest with the College of Natural Resources. The counselors also experienced a “taste of Raleigh” by visiting restaurant staples, such as The Pit, for some authentic southern cuisine. To culminate the visit, 8 of the counselors took part in the Krispy Kreme Challenge. We even had two counselors that participated in last year’s Fly-In Tour come back to Raleigh this year to take on the Krispy Kreme Challenge!
