International Students
At NC State University, we value the diversity and insight that international students bring to our community. And we believe it's this international diversity that makes us strong.
When you come to NC State as an international student, you won't just learn from a diverse faculty, you'll have the support of the Office of International Services (OIS). The OIS provides international students with the information, resources, and assistance you need to succeed as you begin your academic career at NC State. Whether you have questions concerning immigration regulations, university policies, or employment or travel questions, OIS advisors are available to discuss your individual questions and concerns. Orientation programs designed specifically for international students are an excellent resource for important information necessary for adjustment to life in the United States and at NC State.
As an international applicant, you should be aware of several important factors concerning admissions that we wish to call to your attention before you submit your application. All international students must prove English proficiency to be considered for admission. Furthermore, the University does not have any financial aid available for international students. All international applicants must be able to provide documentation indicating the availability of funds for each year of study in order to meet government requirements for financial support.
