…that week before break…

In these years as a student blogger, I think I already wrote substantially about Spring Break week. As this week’s blog is due BEFORE spring break, I will dedicate it to the often ignored week before Spring Break!
that tough week before spring break...
My experience as an undergraduate was that Spring Break is actually never during the spring…considering it is supposed to fall more or less in the middle of the semester, and we start around the first/second week of January, this makes Spring Break fall just a bit before actual spring.
...midterms...
Usually the week before Spring Break is either extremely busy or extremely free, depends on your luck. As a student I had fifty percent luck in this sense. One year I had almost all my midterm exams due on the week before spring break, the next barely one… Your luck could be completely different and have the immense misfortune of having midterms due the week after Spring Break…I think this would be a worst case scenario and which I luckily never had to endure.
For me this semester is not too bad, as half my midterms will fall before Spring Break, and the other half after Spring Break, yet not the Monday directly after. Basically, this week I have been busy studying for one half of my midterms, hoping to get them (successfully) over with and to have some time before break to get ahead studying for my other midterms. However my thoughts are right now in my Spring Break destination: the City of New York!
I am not that busy this week…so I took advantage of some of the good weather and walked around a kind of empty campus (as most people are studying or taking exams right now) and could witness very cool red-skies during sunsets (a good sign about the Wolfpack’s success in the coming March Madness???, I truly hope so!).
