My Favorite Class
Post by Andrew Jordan
Ever since walking in to the Poole College of Managment’s Nelson Hall three years ago for my first class, I have had many classes that have been insightful and full of great students and teachers. However not until this semester did I have a class that I really consider my favorite and that I envision myself using the knowledge I have gained from it, in a great capacity every year.
Ernest Carraway’s Tax Accounting class, or ACC 330 as we call it here in Nelson focuses on individual and corporate taxable income from an accounting perspective. It has helped me to figure out how to plan my tax returns, job situation, and even purchases throughout the year and for the rest of my life.
This class is just another of the countless examples of how the Poole College of Managment takes great pride in preparing all of its students for all the aspects they will face in the real world upon graduation.
